Bill's Reef?

Has anyone heard from Bill at Bill's Reef lately? Last communication I had with him was August 29, when he told me he was going collecting locally and would pick up some temperate stuff for me, then nothing. Even an order I placed through his site got no follow-up. Is he okay?

Well, I know there have been no hurricanes hitting Long Island, so that's not the problem. But who knows where he goes when he's collecting ... I sure hope he's okay. Dangerous work sometimes.

ah man. bill where r u? my girlfriend just ordered from your site and got no answer in like a week. whats up with that? we live in the city not to far so it should nottake this long

Any mods out there know how to get in touch with Bill other than email? If someone could see whats up, and if possible get him to respond it would be appreciated by atleast a few concerned people.

Hopefully someone in-the-know will be by shortly, I posted this elsewhere. :) I thought it might be worthwhile to mention that collecting is sometimes hit or miss.. perhaps they're held until properly filled.

Sorry for dropping off the radar. I got sucked into some very time consuming problems at work (my "day job"). As a result I lost track of who I managed to keep up to date as well as a few other things. As of this weekend, it seems the "fires" are out and I should be able to get things back on track during this week.

Ah, well, understandable. I was concerned more because, well, sailing and diving aren't the safest of activities this time of year and all.

Good! My seahorses should be arriving next week, and I wanted to have a clean-up crew and some seagrasses to augment what I already have in their new home. Drop me an email when you're ready, Bill!

greenighs,

I can ship those goodies up to you this week if you like ;) Been meaning to call you, but I kept forgetting to bring your number with me when I leave the house :eek2:

Assuming that is what you were looking for. Otherwise I need to hunt down some more temperate ones ;)

Yes tropical is what I was looking for, and based on your answer, I think my next question has been answered, do I need to resubmit my order?

 Bill, if you can't call me from work, would you please reply to my emails? I'm greenighs at yahoo dot com. I wanted to talk to you about the cleanup crew, and see what you've got for a cool water tank. Thanks!

Okay, got my order! Lots of nifty temperate items, including a bonus glob of codium attached to a stack of slipper-shell snails! The seagrasses are a nightmare to plant, by the way, because my substrate is really muddy and silty. I can see where I'm planting the first roots, after that, I'm doing it by feel. Can't see anything until the tank clears. Anyway, looks pretty good, we'll see if they take!

Oh, and the nasarrius snails are great! Thanks!
