Hello, I knowtist a bunch of SPS tanks (some TOTM) are running bio-pellets in reactors. Assuming lighting and chemistry are already good, what benefits can these add to an SPS tank? I would like to hear both good and bad changes after installing one of these on your tank. Thanks

Bio pellets remove nitrates and very little phosphate, if your not running a protien skimmer or your nitrates are high, then they are great. If you're phosphates are high then Gfo is the media for you. If nothing is wrong with your system, well if it ain't broke, don't fix it

Happy reefing

Ahhh, not for me then. If I follow DSB bucket + macrofuge is equal or better at doing what a bio-pellet reactor does. So a good device for reefers with no space for sumps and refugiums.
