Birdsnest tips white

I just completed a ten day experience with whats called dinos. I immediately began a remediation program, when I discovered it, and it turned out successful. But now a few of my birdsnest tips (1/4 inch) turned white from where the dinos where attached. Its doesn't seem to be progressing and the colonies look ok. I'm wondering if I should clip off the "dead" tips?

you sure its not dead and not growth tips? my birdsnest has some insane white tips when its really healthy

I was afraid of that but yeah, I think it provides a perfect growing surface for something I don't want to grow. A pink BN I wont have to do anything with, its free standing and gets rolled around my tank by a hippo tang. I tried mounting it but the fish constantly kept breaking it free. tks for reply.

Cut it off. White is good when the colony is growing quite rapidly. It will heal over the cut a lot faster than it will grow over the dead part.
