birth of 2 builds totaling 30k gallons

+1

Also means you can use your personal page to chat with family and personal friends and keep the reef nerds off in a corner where it's safer.

He wasn't born yesterday. There is very little exposed to the reef nerds... keeping the weird ones at bay:blown:
What are you putting in this monstrosity?

Aeum. We still have the pep. Does great and doubled in size. ****ed off it didn't work out for Rufus on this last dive. I wanted to try pairing up again.

I agree reef central isn't easy to download pics on. I and Yalcin much prefer fb. We havnt decided whether we going to keep big tank reef safe or semi but I can't not have big Angels in one of the tanks. And schools of butterfly's. Quarantine esp in beginning when doing many fish at same time is a challenge and issue anday have to do some off site unless I want to be filling this over 15 years

Are you planning on putting the personatus and boylei in the 900g together or a smaller tank than that even so they don't get "lost" in the tank? You obviously would rarely see it in the giant tank. Cooler tank temps are kept with them right? Or do you just keep the tank around 78?

Peps stay in Separate tank for sure. I'm planning on another cold water deep tank for butterfly's like basssbei or roa. Personatas might go there first but I don't see why when they adult they can't go in main big tank at 75 76 which is how I keepvthem now

Rick that site work for rc?[/QUO

Yes very easy,...and I'm not very proficient on the computer :)
You load the pics from your computer files which are stored on your Imgur images,...pick which you want to post...right click,..copy image URL then paste on RC>url link. That's all I do,...plus the pic has zoom,... so you can get a close look at the pic.
Here is one you sent me that I have in my Imgur "images"

Check out PentairAES.com they sell things much like RayL posted above. I don't know how willing I would be to trust others to do the QTing... That's a gamble for sure. You have a lot of knowledge with meds and treatments that can't be taught to someone in a few days or weeks so leaving others to do your QTing isn't advisable... As I'm sure you already know

Kkitredge I can't do that. Or maybe I should so I could write this hobby off and match expenses with revs.

If I was interested in doing so, I would look into how some auto collectors turn their garages into "museums" with very limited hours or by appointment only. I imagine the IRS shows them a bit of extra attention.

He would have to hire armed guards to keep the crazies away... This is all for Andrews enjoyment and we are all lucky enough that he is sharing this with us. He obviously doesn't need revenue from charging admission to see his tank(s)... I have second thoughts about putting the actual city I live in on here for all to see... Never would I ever let people know where I actually live and I have a fraction, maybe not even a fraction of what Andrew does

Interesting point. We all live vicariously through people like yourself and Andrew (and many others) with amazing tanks/builds/rare livestock. I'll never be at his level, but as my current tank matures, fish in the $1000-$3000 range would certainly be in my budget.

My tank is in the entryway of my office, so it is quasi-public. You mention "the crazies". What is your biggest fear regarding that? Theft? Poisoning? Something else?

Jealousy which leads to poisoning tanks (I have seen it happen to a few LFS around me. One place was bugged bombed through a mail slot) the other part of the "crazies" is people are unpredictable at best especially when you know little to nothing about them... I for one wouldn't want anyone I didn't really know and trust knowing where my office or home was... We aren't talking crazies like camping out in front of your house type thing I'm talking more along the lines of people are envious and jealous of what they don't have and that can lead to bad things. I'm willing to bet Andrew has all sorts of cool s**t outside of fish and giant tanks which inherently will make people jealous which could lead to unpredictable behavior.

I can't hold a candle to Andrew or Ted when it comes to awesome tanks/fish... That's what I strive to become one day

You hear of stories where people come to buy something listed on Craigslist and end up pulling a gun. I surely wouldn't let someone in my home that I didn't know, on the premise of looking at fish :thumbdown
