birth of 2 builds totaling 30k gallons

You've probably heard of it, but for cleaning you should check out mightymagnets.com they have a stock magnet for 4" tanks and a floating version up to 3 1/2" and do custom. I haven't used them but was referred by someone using them on a 1300 sps tank.

You need an acrylic safe RoboSnail on steroids. Seems that an industrial sized robotic aquarium cleaner would already exist. I'm thinking a cross between the robotic pool scrubbers and software technology of a robot vacuum. Probably cheaper and more reliable to just have a guy jump in once a week with a surface air system like this http://www.browniesmarinegroup.com/third-lung-diving/electric-diving-systems/ Diver with a pallet of Magic Erasers...

Drew - yes, they have acrylic and glass pads. Looks like a wide range of "grit" is available on the pad ranging from acrylic safe to taking your coraline off in one swipe.

Congrats on such an incredible build, big thanks for your willingness to share with the rest of us as you embark on this truly epic journey, the end result is going to be phenomenal"¦.

Care to adopt a 30 year old, his wife, two kids, and some random pets? She's good at cleaning, the kids are good at making it look like she's done nothing all day, and i'm good for a laugh. (my wife tells me they are laughing at me, not with me, i fail to see the difference). I'll even put on some scuba gear and you can use me as a decoration for the tank.

Worm. Its cause all they soing is pouring sealant silicone black gook in between the fiberglass and acylic. Not much to see. They started to take brick off side house to start extention.

Hey Andrew,...small world, was talking to my buddy tonight that built my tank, and he said he was just at your house helping on your new tank. His name is Tim,...he was with a couple of guys Scott and Shawn, I think he said Shawn was from Florida. He said they were doing something with the Acrylic.Kind of funny---Rick
