birth of 2 builds totaling 30k gallons

Andrew, thank you so much for sharing your extraordinary build with all of us. I'm sure I speak for many others when I say, thank you for doing so with this incredible build. Many of us will never reach this level of ability to own such a magnificent system. Words do not do justice to what you are achieving here.

If I'm ever in Long Island I'll look you up on Facebook and see about coming over for a tour, it would be an honor to be able to see this first hand. The exotics that you have are truly amazing, and I do appreciate you sharing this with all of us.

I'm a butterfly and angel junkie to say the least. I had a 200 gal tank several years ago with many show quality fish in it, and I was so very stupid and put a damsel in without quarantine. Needless to say it killed my whole tank. I'm guessing velvet did it in.

Anyway I'm now back into saltwater and will stay on a small scale, but to see something of this magnitude is extraordinary! Again, Thank You!

Thx dkulmann it's my pleasure to share on rc. I'm learning myself as we go along with some help with large system experienced people. Lot of planning

I just started reading the first couple of pages of this thread. Wow! I see you're in Old Westbury. I live in Stony Brook but plow snow for my father-in-law in Old Westbury. He's a retired Inspector of the Old Westbury PD (about 7-8 years ago). I'm sure I've past your home on many occasions.
Amazing build! Thanks for sharing. Now back to reading the rest.

Thx rob. I own 2 houses in old westbury now one close to glencove road and lie service road that one is for sale. The other new one is closer to the polo fields off of Whitney by next year some time these should be flood shape so if your ever in town pm me.

I know exactly where you are talking about. Funny thing was I looked at the pics on the first couple of pages and thought wow if this guy is on long island that sure looks like OW. Then I saw the pic with the police SUV and thought that has to be OW. My Father in law has a few jobs up in that area but none on Whitney. The plow jobs I do are mainly on Wheatley Rd. I certainly will PM you the next time I'm in town. Probably won't be until next winter though. Thanks for the reply.

That is so awesome. I could probably fit inside those plumbing lines haha. When are you gonna finally fill it up? I read through the entire thread a few weeks ago and can't wait to see this thing in all its glory
