and bought a new Digital SLR, so those of you in the photo competitions better watch out!

Sony Alpha DSLR-A100K it's a 10.2mp camera.

I still need to buy some media for it, but i'm pretty excited about stepping up into the world of slr.

I wish I did get it at CC. I paid $499 for it! they are still $699 at BB.

They are still on clearance at Circuit City, But I cant seem to find one in store. Still 499.00 is still a great deal. -mark

Just got the basic lens it come with. I'm gonna get a couple of uv filters and a wide angle and maybe a telescopic lens later for race days.

congrats, that camera takes great pics. great price I thought they cost around $900.

They used to. The a100 is the older model now and the 300 and 350 are the big dollar cameras. I saw some of these starting on ebay for around 550 and up depending on the kit.
