so to my understanding the smaller of the two is the male....so now that the female died..is it possible to introduce another clown to my small 14 biocube?

yes...

the new introduction can be eithor larger or smaller than the male clown

you would be better off getting a larger clownfish...

Ummm....maybe not. A new clown may be attacked and killed, or they might just tolerate each other, but there is certainly no guarantee they will pair up again. Hopefully they will, but its more up to them than it is us.

Species? Have any pictures?

14gal is too small for B&W polymnus
14gal is too small for B&W clarkii

14gal is alright, for B&W ocellaris. IME, these appear a bit more aggressive in the pairing phase then the typical Orange & White ocellaris. Be ready for a battle.

A couple of months ago my female B&W Ocellaris chased my male out of the tank twice -- the second time being the last time -- didn't get to him in time.
