Well 2 Saturdays ago I bought one from FAOIS and as soon I put him in the tank he went right into the sand. So for 2 weeks I keep looking for him but he never came out......So I figured he was a lost...UNTIL tonight, I was staring at my tank and was thinking never saw that fish before...and there he was.... Crappy pics but Im so happy him came out and not was eaten by my CUC...

Ha I ended up getting my melanurus last week from FAOIS as well. As soon as he went in the quarantine (not that I don't trust you guys @ FAOIS!) he dove into the sand I placed in a Tupperware bowl for him. The kids love it, should be adding him to display soon.

No offense taken. We invest a great deal of effort and money into all of our animals but no system, no matter how well implemented, is perfect. We strongly encourage all hobbyists to be responsible and proactively protect their aquariums. Quarantining all purchases regardless of the source is the wise choice. Trust no one.
