Great looking clams.

I hear ORA breeds black/white maxies, but, I'll bet they aren't that nice.

I do not think ORA breeds any clams? They reportly get their clams from the Marshall Islands clam farm. Which are suppose to be the best.

YEs ORA does buy their clams from a clam farm. My Zebra Maxima actually came from ORA. I will have to agree, THey are the best!!!!

Was told that Barry from Clams Direct and ECC and others also get them all the time as well. ORA and SDC ship these clams to the distributors. Have seen other suppliers also advertise ORA clams.

Yes this is right RonN. ORA does NOT aquaculture clams. They simply are distrubitors for many of the Marshal Island Aquaculterers. Other islands (including Hawaii) have breeding facilities, yet are not yet a large patrt of the markets (ornamental or food industry) due to the small size of their current stock.

They basically import them, then sell them to some wholesalers and often times directly to busineses.
