black ocellaris sexing question

Will a 1 and a half inch black ocellaris have a distingueshed sex, or is it still sexually immature and be a hermaphrodite? I know there information about this in regards to age, but if you dont know the age, can you go with length?

My friend has one in his 24 gallon biocube. it is the only fish he has. it has not been with any other clownfish, except whe he was in the lfs.

I'd pair it with a much smaller one. I'm not sure about it being alone that long. Either way the safest thing to do is pair with a smaller one.
