Black something-or-other on my zoos?

I rearranged things in my nano yesterday and today when I was looking to see how things were doing, I noticed some weird black "threads" coming out of the mouths of some of my zoos. The zoos are all open and looking fine, but a handful of them have what looks like a piece of black thread coming out of the mouths, probably 1/2" long. There are a few that are not open the entire way that also have this string hanging out of the mouth even when closed...

I scanned the rest of the colonies real quick and didn't notice this on any of the other ones. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I know it's probably a shot in the dark until I can get a picture...I'll try to get one later today to help with my sad description...

Sounds like they are regurgitating. Mine did that when I moved them to a new tank.

Some have said in the past that they are expelling zooxanthellae. I've heard a lot of people mention it, so I wouldn't worry.

My zoos do that when they're moved to a higher light area. I think Gary is right; they're expelling zooxanthellae.
