Black spots all over clownfish

Hello everybody. Ive had this clownfish for about a month. He is active and eating, But I've noticed he has gotten black spots all over his body. Started with a few and now he's pretty much covered within a week. Is it some sort of disease like black ick?

This could be one of those hybrid of regular and black Ocellaris clowns that's just getting its mature colors. I wouldn't worry too much about. Black ich is not that common and mostly appears on yellow tang IME...

Well that's good to know its not very common. When I bought the fish, he was labeled "fancy ocellaris". Maybe it is just a mix.

You have any soft corals he is trying to host in, like torch or hammer? Clowns will tend to get black spots trying to host in abnormal corals for them and this happens a lot. It will go away in time once it's slime coats builds its tolerance.
