Black Tang Experience?

Hi, I am able to get a black tang and I was wondering if anyone else had any experiences with them, I currently have a Sailfin, white cheek, yellow tang: would they get along?

This. Also you will probably have to catch the yellow and sailfin to prevent them from beating on the new black tang no matter what the tank size

If you really want one, the sailfin or/and yellow may have to go. I know that I wouldn't let a $30 fish beat on my $450 fish for longer than it took to net them out...

What if i restart the tank and re arrange the rock? Would that allow me to keep the Sailfin and yellow tang?

My Black Tang is a big very relaxed puppy dog. I added a purple with no issues, had it been that I was adding the Black after the purple I am sure I would have had issues.

The only ones I have seen have been relatively small (3-4"). Generally they are not very aggressive. I would say the sailfin would definitely mess with it, but yellows are generally not quite as aggressive.

Both the Yellow and Salfin needs to come out. I would recommend putting them in a holding tank and rearranging your rock work and reintroducing the salfin and the yellow about 3-4 weeks later.

My black showed my Gem a lil aggression the first few minutes. Been all good since and added a very small (1") mustard and a 3" fowleri since with no aggressions at all. Lebron has been a model to MJ and all other fish in my tank
