Blackthunda77's 80 Gal to 195 Gal upgrade!

I've got frags of stuff laying around my tank, things that just magically frag themselves lol. If you are ever in Miami, West Kendall area, hit me up. I can hook you up with some frags. I've got some montis, digis, birdsnest, pocillopora. Let me know. I remember getting some useful info off of your thread and its only right I pay it back and help you out, PM me anytime.

Thanks buddy. I will definitely take you up on your offer. I'm planning on being on the east coast some time after the holidays/new years. Hopefully you'll have some stuff left for me.

Hi John. Congratulations for being a new father.

I’m also in Naples and father of a newborn. I understand your situation.

I have some tri-color cloves and some green implosion palys that I can share with you.

Thanks buddy. I'd like to take you up on that offer, even if only to meet you and check out your tank. I haven't had a chance to really meet anyone from the SWFMAS society except for Ron. Where are you located? Maybe I can swing by sometime this week or weekend.

Alright, I'll send you my info on a PM.

Couple new additions to the tank from last weekend, thanks mainly to Eddie and Marvin.

Did a beach collection last weekend on sanibel after those storms blew through. A bunch of weird stuff ended up on shore. But I ended up coming home with some red porcelain crabs, some gorgs, and peppermint shrimp.

Tanks is looking good, John! I'm glad that you are enjoying the cloves.

How long have you keep that blue linckia? I always wanted one, but a I heard that they are difficult to keep...

Jonathan, that's not a linkia, it a local star fish I picked up in Marco island. If you like it I can grab one for you next time I'm on the island.

But I have had linkias before and they are pretty hardy as long as the tank is mature and they have some algea in the tank to munch on. And proper acclimating, something like 2-3 hrs drip acclimation worked best for me.

Thanks for offering the sea star. I'm adding a clam in my tank soon and I have read they could bother it. Any past experiences about this?

Tank looks that is starting to thrive. Did you find out what was the problem with your water source?
