Blackthunda77's 80Gal Shallow Reef Build

Thanks Jovany. Went a little neglected for a couple months but it pulled through. The raptors peace favia put on some size. :bounce1:

Your tank looks awesome and very mature! Very nice! Did the zoos make a comeback? Did you take pics with the go pro?

Some did, some didnt. Maybe you can swing by one time when your in the area or causing chaos with marke and check them out. Not sure why some are doing good and some look anorexic.

I really like your aquascaping and the layout of the tank.

Thanks. I was going for minimal rock, which is hard because the tank looks so empty until the corals start filling in the empty space. Im getting there but not fast enough. Most of my rockwork is covered, now i just need my sps to start filling in the empty space above the rock work.

black... i read all the 15 pages and followed you all the way on this tank...

all i gotta say is holy ****.. your tank is AWESOME!!

your tank is my new inspiration . :bounce3::inlove:

I dealing with a bit of a nitrate issue, somewhere around 20-30. So some of the colors are browning out. However, growth on the SPS seems to be good. Eddie, thats your xfactor on the last pic i posted on the bottom right. Gaining some speed now, will be fragging in due time.

Men, those corals have grown a whole lot

Thanks Rogger. The colonies i got from you are doing well also. I told you i would take care of them. I know they are not very rare, but if you want pieces of your original colony when your new tank is set up let me know. :) The tricolor especially, has grown quite a bit!
