ORA red planet. Having trouble getting this guy to grow but the color is definitely coming in
Thought these guys were going to melt on me but they are opening back up.

Not exactly sure what they are. They looked like punkrockers when I first got them but they seemed to have morphed. I'm open to info if anyone has any ideas.

Quick photo update.
Scored and ultra rare rovster stunner!
Red planet from macna finally getting color and starting to shoot out new branches. It's under the digi. Kinda hard to get a pic cuz it's right in the center of the tank
X-factor, shortcake, meteor shower, etc.
Tyree raptors peace from macna really gaining some speed now.
Sand dollar and Seasons greetings monti, Miami vice and flaming lotus zoas.
Leng sy cap picking up speed as well.

Emerald crabs are the devil! Lol
I put in 3 emeralds a couple months ago to take care of some bubble algae. Their effectiveness is questionable. I see less algae but never saw them eating it so it might have just been my husbandry. Anyways, I just caught one of them taking a chunk out of one of my zoanthids. I mean I saw the chunk ripped off and the neon zooanthelle fluid stuff squirting out. I saw where it hid and I grabbed it with my long tongs and he is now a sump resident. I searched for the other 2 but only found one. So 2 are in the simp now and I'll be keeping an eye out for the third. I hope the zoanthid recovers.

Looks good John. I just want to mention to be careful with digitadas as I saw your planet so close by. I had two corals touch my pink one and the digi stung the crap out of them. It RTNed overnight on the parts touching didi. Think one died too.

Quick short video update. Well actually its more for me messing around with my GoPro and the new settings. I am messing around with the WVGA 240FPS mode playing around with the Slow Motion feature. In any event, its a rough cut and in some places kinda jerky. Im also still messing around with the export settings. Im trying not to lose so much quality when exporting and uploading to youtube. If anyone has any tips im open to suggestions.

PS. anyone else getting these 500 server errors on here? Its not just me right? RC has been responding really slow lately.

Yea, out of all the tanks i had so far over the years, 10gal, 20gal, 40breeder, 55ga, 54 corner, and 90 this 80 gal shallow is my favorite by far. Up till now atleast. :lmao:

Thanks Mike, Im sure i can do better footage wise. I didnt spend much time on this edit. I was just anxious to test out the 240fps mode. Im going to work on a better version where ill have all the lighs off in the room so you cant see me or the tv in the background, lol. I also want to modify the book pole i made. Its just the bike seat post mount which i mounted to a pvc pipe. Those jerky sections of the vid were where i kept hitting the pvc on the canopy. I have to shorten it a bit.

A guy from here actually offered to catch one for me last time he went to the bahamas. Awesome fish and pretty docile. Its in the same family as the blue jaw and the crosshatch triggers.

Yes they do. Here is a pic under regular light. I gotta try and get a pic under the blues. But taking pics under blues is damn near impossible!
