I just looked through your thread and I love your tank! Can you tell me what these corals are? They are gorgeous!

You've also given me hope that I may be able to keep a trigger in my future mixed reef. Is he still doing well? Any problems with him picking on anything - corals or other tank mates?

What did you ever decide about the pipe fish? Do you still have them?

Sorry for all the questions, I just made mental notes while going through your thread so I could ask all at once. Subscribed. I hope my tank will be successful as yours.

The top pic is ponape birdsnest and the bottom was a green birdsnest. They look furrier once all the polyps are out. The trigger is still doing fine, it doesnt mess with any fish or corals. The pipefish i have not see for weeks. Probably didnt make it. I kind of slcked off on water changes so ive gotten some small amounts of slime algea. Might also be due to the bulbs. I think its about time to change out the bulbs.
 
That ponape and green look nothing like my ponape and green, lol. Any recent pics? Mine grow a much tighter pattern. I realize those may have been fragged a bit.....

yes, they look like that because there was no Polyp Extension. Thats when i first got them. Ill get a pic up for you so you can see them now, i was planning on doing a photo update anyways. But you can kind of see the ponape here in this picture and get an idea.

That looks more like a bird of paradise, or some other birdsnest, but NOT a ponape. FWIW, its prettier than a ponape;)

If that's a ponape, then mine looks like chit, LOL!
 
LOL! Yeah, with so many names, its hard to keep up. My BOP is starting to take off, love the coloration! Can't wait til mine fills out, but if it gets any bigger, it won't fit in my tank:)
 
Had some time this weekend and decided to clean the ole fish bowl. Decided to take some pics while everyone was nice and clean. Guess its a good time to revive this old thread.

I was really close to buying this tank but then decided to go with reef savvy. Your tank came out really nice btw. I want to go to a frag swap....Never been
