Blackworms

You can buy them at The Pet Shop. They are not expensive so it is not worth culturing them. Black worms are best to try to get fish to spawn. They only live for a few minutes in salt water so only feed a little at a time. To store them they need to be in a shallow container with just enough water or a little to cover them & then kept in the fridge. (see how that works out if you are married) Then you need to change the water every day with water the same temperature.I suggest buying a small amount.
I've been keeping (culturing? rearing? whatever is proper verb for these worms) for a year or so. Just to see if it can be done.
There are many setups on the Internet. I started from most sophisticated one and finally it get reduced to very simple. The culture is flow-trough system from my FW tank. Very slow drip, which work as food source and water changes.
Main problems is they are slow to propagate. They propagate because I see small worms. I only use very little to feed my fish. If you want to really feed daily, then you need a large setup.
Second problem for me is keeping temperature low, since they're in my garage. I cool them using small computer thermoelectrical cooler.
In short. If you can buy them, then don't mess with culturing.

Only issue I have ever had with blackworms was keeping the paper towels out of the mix. I put them in a plastic shoe box with an airstone and with brown paper towels and added fresh water every week and some flake. Had them for 3 months. Super easy, fed my anemone until it walked into my MP10. So sad.
