Blasto okay with high flow?

causing them to retract into the skelton. Low to light medium. I generally keep mine in cave like areas in the rocks to keep flow off of them, also they love t5 lighting.

No, it will cause it to "rip" away from its skeleton. I prefer to place mine where low current passes over the top of the colony but does not put to much flow where the "flesh" meets the skeleton. Low or indirect light and spot feeding will also keeps them happy.

I have about 1500gph in my tank, thats 50X turnover. I have a 250w MH 11" from the water surface. I never feed my blastos and they have grown from 5 polyps to about 18 in 8 months and are doing great. There is not direct flow at the colony, the flow bounces off the opposite side of the tank then hits the blastos so its pretty diffused, but still a lot of flow.
