Bleached birds nest brown monti

I've had this frag for about three weeks. It is placed mid tank, maybe 15 inches for light. I have AI vega's. frag came from metal hy. Is my light bleaching it. Too much light or not enough? Green monti from same guy as the birds nest. I started up high but turned brown so I lowered towards bottom. Also is this light related? My tank is mostly softies with lots of fish. I was trying to keep a couple easy sps. Tanks a 195 with total water being 250. 28 inches tall. I was running a little carbon and gfac. Took them both out today.

Hard to say for sure. What's your alk? What is your photo period? You might have too long of a light cycle.

Nine hour light period. Vega led's. That's with two hour ramp up so main intensity is like 7 hours.
