Hi. Im new to this forum, so sorry if this isnt in the right place. I bought a bubble tip anemone, not knowing my lighting wasn't strong enough. Rookie mistake. Hes been in my tank for about 3 months until i upgraded to 2 165 watt mars aqua LED lights. Does he look savable? If so what should i do? He wont grab food and will only eat if hes in a position where the food can sit on him.

Try and move the anemone, or the rock it's attached to, or the light so the anemone gets as much light as possible. But don't over do it. MarsAqua don't put out as much PAR as most of the other Chinese fixtures (1.8 watts/led vs 2.2 watts/led) so keep that in mind.

What power levels are you using currently and how deep in the tank is the anemone? Is it getting any flow? Enough to make it move around some when it's opened up as well as it does for now? That help deliver food to it. But when you feed the tank, turn off pumps and offer some small food directly on the anemone. Let the food sit there for 10 minutes or so and then turn the pumps back on. That's how I even feed healthy anemones about once every week or two.

Don't hope to rush the recovery, it may take 2 or 3 months to gain some size and color back. Hopefully it will start holding food better and eat as well as use photosynthesis to feed.
