Blenny vs. Jawfish

I am thinking of adding a bi-color blenny or a yellowheaded jawfish to my tank...or maybe both of them if possible. I have been reading about both of these fish and would like to know your opinions/experience with them. I want a hardy fish that is easy to care for.

I have a 55 FOWLR... 4-5" sandbed/substrate mix, @ 40lbs of liverock, a kenya tree coral, Alleni Damsel, Blue-Green Chromis, and 1 Oscellaris... plus a mix of snails and blue-legs.

Thanks!

OR a Shrimp Goby???

OR a Shrimp Goby???

I just visited my LFS, and was asking them about jawfish and blennies... they suggested a Shrimp / Goby pair. They had a Pistol shrimp and said that there are many Gobies that will live with the shrimp.

My reason for getting a jawfish was because I want to see something active and interesting going on when I look in the tank. It sounds like the Shrimp / Goby combo could be pretty cool.

Anybody have experience with these??? I want something hardy and easy to keep.

You can keep a blenny with a jawfish.

Shrimp/goby pairs are very neat to watch, and most of them are quite hardy.

Just picked up a couple tiger pistol shrimp and a randalls goby. I was amazed to see the shrimp digging the moment they touched the sand. The goby is a little scared still, but hopefully it will come out and show himself with time. very cool animals though, the stymbiotic relationship sometimes takes awhile to happen.

Jawfish are great to watch and are always watching you too. You can have both a Jawfish and a Blenny. Both are good fish. Jawfish are one of my favorites.

I picked up a Tiger Pistol over the weekend.

Now, I am wondering what type of Goby would be the most likely to pair up with the Pistol?

Also - Can I add a Jawfish to this mix later on?

I had a jawfish with a watchman goby in a 29g. If I were you i'd get a yasha, i think thats teh one im thinking of, watchman's are pretty boring.
