Blown fuse?

I have an ACII and a DC8.

The DC8 is not functioning properly (I think). Last night it would not change the on/off of any of the outlets, either through auto or manual control. If it was on, then it stayed on. If it was off, it stayed off. I then unplugged the DC8 from the GFCI receptacle. Everything went off and were still unchangeable. Could this be a blown fuse?

I was in the process of adding an additional heater, that is why I am thinking blown fuse. I changed the program too, but not sure if that could be the problem since manual control does not work either.

An additional question.
I needed an extension of the serial cable, so I purchased a 10' db9 serial cable. Well they only had female x female, so I had to get a gender changer. I have it connected as such: computer, ground loop isolator, serial extension cable, gender changer, neptune serial cable, ACII. When I added this cable, I could not get a response from the ACII, and the aquanotes program ran very sluggishly. Have no idea what the problem could be. Any ideas?

Does the green led blink when commands are sent to the controller? The green light should normally be on and blink off when commands are sent to the DC8. To send commands go to the control & status -> manual control display on the controller. If the light is blinking, and all the outlets remain in the off state, then I suspect that the fuse is blown.
You extension cable likely has the wrong internal connections, since it has the same gender connectors on each end of the cable. See the required connections in the faq on the support section of our website www.neptunesys.com for the required connections.

It is definately not a blown fuse, but other than that I don't known what is wrong. I got home from work yesterday, and plugged in the DC8. Everything worked fine. I could control the outlets from the controller and the PC. After awhile I noticed that I could not control outlets 5-8. I could control 1-4, but not 5-8. Then after some more time, I could not control any of the outlets. The controller would change based on changes from the PC, and I could change the status using the controller, but I did not get any response from the DC8.

As far as the light, at first it was on continually and would blink when changes were made. Then it was off for a short while. Then it stayed on constantly without blinking for changes.

I have one of the recalled DC8's and have filled out the form and given a credit card number. Do you know when the new DC8 will ship out? If it is only a few days, I could wait to see if that makes any changes. Otherwise, any suggestions?
