My brother just got a 3 Inch Blu Tang Hippo...
125 Gallon Mixed Fish and reef Tank... Ph 8.4 Temp 80 0 Nitrates, 0 Nitrites.. Calcium 425... Salinity 1.0024
He put the Hippo in on Thurday around 11:00am... He did nibble at a little allgae... But come yesterday, he was pretty much dormant.. Only staying in one place. He hides for most of the day. Will come out of a cave, and swin around for maybe 5 seconds, then swim back in....
NOt eating anything we are trying... We have tried, Live brine, Frozen Mysis, Frozen Emerald Entree, Nori Sheets on a magnet, flake food... She just hovers in one spot... Food even passed right by her mouth. She has no intrest. She also looks a little boney....
Any thoughts? We have mixed all her food with Extreme Garlic, and Selcon thus far...
Fish looks to be healthy... Color is good...
