Blue-est halide bulbs?

I have scratches all over my tank that show way more in white light than blue, so I'm going to try the most blue halides possible. The have to be 250w DE bulbs.

Right now I'm thinking 20k XM bulbs. Any suggestions?

The BLUEST 250w DE I've tried are 14K Phoenix and XM20K on Icecap. They are disgustingly blue to the point where the whole tank looks so washed out.

I'm running iceacap ballasts. I had phoenix bulbs before and LOVED them so maybe I will go back to them. "disgustingly blue" is a matter of opinion I guess :p

EVC / Helios 20K

20k XM on a magnetic ballast. I dunno if you can do it on a DE bulb, but just look for a low power ballast and stick an XM 20k on it.

I just installed Pheonix 14K in my Giesemann fixture, all the coral florecent colors poped, but the color is too blue comparing to my old megacrome 13K which has more nature sunlight color.

i am running 400w, but just for comparison. i have 20k XM bulbs and they look great, but i also have a 14k Hamilton bulb that looks even more blue than the xm. this test was run on PFO mag ballast. ( i dont use any supplement bulbs but i like the xm a little better for my setup.)

just got xm 20k se and they are blue i actually hate them. was using reeflux 20ks which was a crisp white blue and the xms look like i have a tank full of windex.

Are Helios and EVC the same bulb? Cannot find the Helios 400 SE 20k anywhere, been almost a year.
