Blue Haddoni

A couple pics of the nem this morning.
It seems to be doing well. It's mouth is open, but not terribly wide.
It's very sticky and it's large foot is stuck like glue to the bottom of the QT.
I think I will take it out today and put it in my 60 gallon look down tank.

Its so much bigger than I imagined. I don't feel comfortable leaving it in my `10 gallon QT for long.

It has deflated two days in a row.
It has expelled quite a bit of zooxanthelle.
It was completely expanded this morning and looking well, but contracted for a few hours today. It seems to be expanding again.
I kind of wish DD wouldn't treat the gigs and haddis with antibiotics. I think it makes it harder on the aquarist to transition the animals to their own tank.

I think if they didn't, there wouldn't actually be any coming through DD. Are you treating it? I don't have a lot of hands on experience with hads, but if a mag was regularly deflating, it'd be into HT lickety split. You may also want to watch the other nems in your tank. I have certainly read that a sick one can infect otherwise healthy ones.

Wow, that guy came with a lot of water. I hope it comes through for you, it's got really nice color. Have you noticed anything common with the deflates? Same time of day? Or random?

I have often had the exact same sentiment. If it were me, I'd rather receive an anemone that hasn't already been treated. At the very least, receive a detailed account of the treatment provided.
