Don't want to get into a safety discussion here. I know people keep venemous snakes, scorpions, cone snails, and black widow spiders too. However, from an arms-length distance I have to admit they are beautiful. Not for me, however. If you want info on the store selling this guy, send me a PM. It is located in Orange County. I don't know how much they were asking.
Not to totally derail the thread, but this is what he looks like just hanging out in his cup. You can definitely see the rings. However when startled or excited, they get much more dramatic - no I did not tap on the glass, but every now and then he would "flash" when something happened like someone walking past the tank, etc.
