Blue S. gigantea 3 months post cipro

This is my third gigantea purchase. The first I bought healthy and it stayed with me until I sold it 3-4 years later. The second I purchased sick in 2007; I attempted antibacterial treatment (can't even remember which drug), but I didn't have cipro or any of the other recommended drugs on hand. It died quickly.

This guy I purchased in April from my LFS. It was bleached, being eaten by a rather large angel fish, and starving (poor tentacle thickness) but it had been in captivity for 2 years so I hoped that it wouldn't have a bacterial infection. I was wrong, as it began a inflate, deflate cycle within a week of being introduced to my tank. Here are some pictures of its progression since its cipro treatment (thanks Minh). I am not a photographer, aquascaper, of acrylic cleaner, as evidenced by the photos:bdaysmile:

4/5/14 - sixth day of Cipro treatment. No deflation for 5 days.

4/22/14 - after 2 weeks in display and obligatory ID shot.

Very nice. I like the progression stages as it shows really well in the end what an S.Gigantea should look like when fully acclimated and healthy.
You're too modest, those photos are much better than you made them to be ;)
