jus tbought on thursdaty he is till very shy when do these guys start to come out of their burrows. He i still pretty shy. hes made alot of tunnels undr ths rock. but hardly ever pokes his head out any sugestions?

use a frozen mixture of blended up seafood with garlic. let it thaw and put it on the intake of a power head. The snowstorm of food will spread all over the tank and even the most shy fish in the tightest cracks between rocks will get some food. the fresher and tastier the ingredients, the better.

make sure to step away from the tank as your scary presence may spook them :eek1:

I have a mandarin goby and a neon psuedochromis with mine. They don't really have anything in common with eachother and don't come near echother at all. One lives in sandy burrows and the other two stay among rocky crevices. my psuedo prefers worms, the mandarin likes pods and the jawfish goes for the fishy meaty foods.

My bluespot isn't shy at all. He made his den right in front of the glass & eats like a pig no matter what I feed.
