I just picked one up form lfs and he is doing great. I question i have about mine and i guess all in general, is are they jumpers? Ther guy at the lfs told me they were. I was just wondering if anybody had any jumpers. Im getting a 75gal tank tomarrow and and 2 360 watt hl's with 2 actinic pc's in each pendant on monday. If they are jumpers what do you use to stop them from jumping?
Anything helps.
Thanks
Also i have my blue spotted in a nano cube, (nowhere to jump)

They are very much so jumpers. They will find the smallest hole in the entire canopy and fit through it. Depending on the size of the fish, eggcrate can be used to cover the tank and keep them from jumping out.

Definitely jumpers, mine wound up as a dried up playtoy for my cats on the living room floor. It was the most expensive cat toy I ever bought!!

I have seen people with pendants put approx 6" wood trim above the tank to prevent jumpers. I don't know how well it works, but its a good idea in theory.

I guess the thought is that most fish can't clear a 6" hurdle.

I lost two to jumping, one jumped trough the holes of an eggcrate cover. The second jumped trough a small hole for the powerhead wire I made on the acrylic cover I made to replace the eggcrate "trying to prevent" the second one from jumping.
SO cover the tank tight.
