Blue Throat Triggers - 2 Males, 1 Female

I just placed an order for triggers earlier today and was just looking over invoice and mistakenly ordered two males and one male. Intended on putting the female and male in tank but screwed up. Will the three be okay or should I plan on putting the third in my frag tank and selling?

Tank is 600 gallon (96X48X30) with lots of hiding spaces. Thanks in advance on advice! :headwally:

as much as it would have been a beautiful scene... personally I wouldn't risk it... but that's just me. You may just be fine with that big system. I think sometimes the biggest fear in this hobby is despite all the research and success in the past you get a new fish you still never know what personality he/she has. Please keep us posted when you have them (2, or all 3) in would love to see them mingle.

Yeah, I think I'm going to put it on the club site today and find a new owner for one of the males. Fish are a love/hate relationship due to the personalities that come out sometimes!

I had problems with two males in 1250 gallon DT. When you get problems I will hard to catch one...

Thanks for insight. I've got mixed opinions on the three forums I've posted on, too mixed for me to put a fish in setting up for failure. Going to try to find the second male a good home!

Yes, forgot to compliment your tank, it looks great! please share photos of them once you have them acclimated in there. No rush though, I know you'll need to do QT and all that, but would love to see once you have them in. Thanks

Thanks, it's been a work in progress and always something new to chase after when you have 1,100 gallons[emoji12]

Fish look great and found a new home for my mistaken adoption. They both were out and about for a bit today but only when I was sitting from a distance. I'll get shots once I'm able to not startle them by the tank[emoji33]

They are supposed to be safer, but just like reef - safe wrasses, it depends on the fish. And good luck getting em back out if it doesn't work.
