How hard is it to keep blueberry gorgonian? I can get a hold of some but I've never kept gorgonian. I hear that most are non-photosynthetic. I also read that they require pretty regular feedings to maintain them. Can anyone else give me some advice?

Thanks.

They are very difficult to keep. I would'nt get one.

If you do, you may want to try Reef Roids as this was made to feed gorgonians.

Hey Bigsack!

That's cool you can keep those blueberries. They've been very difficult always for me to keep. Lasts for a while then dies off.

ezcompany - I think they feed on phyto, right? Maybe a home feed brew would work well too!

luisprado - I think they are at a difficult level to keep in my opinion. Good luck though! Let us know how it works out if you get it.

Sean.

I bought the blueberry and began feeding DT's Phyto and am in the process of purchaseing reef roids to feed as well.

Hey, let me know how the reefroid feedings go because I've just been feeding DTs and liquid life w/cyclops. If RR is better, then i may switch over.

I've had luck with Phycopure as well for gorgonians. The blueberrys are pretty tough, but I've know some to keep them for at least a limited time with good feeding. GL

Yes, it is Phyto. I have a friend who had one for several months but then her puffer ate it. Others who have tried have lost theirs within several weeks. They definitely are challenging.

I feed phyto and liquidlife with cyclopeeze everyday to everyother day and i've had mine for for about 2 months now and they look fine. hopefully they'll stay that way.

Please keep us informed...I'd love to feed a diet to them that would keep them alive as they are gorgeous. Thanks, Marcye
