BNC Extension Cable for pH

Hello,

Was looking for help on this....

I have a profilux 3.1 A at the moment. It currently runs one of my systems. I would like to add a calcium reactor on a second system, located about 10 feet away.

I was thus hoping that I could use a BNC extension cable for pH to control the calcium reactor. However, there doesn't seem to be an extension cable greater than 2m with the BNC plug.

Was wondering there was indeed a 5m cable? or could I purchase multiple 2m cables and connect them in series? Or would that introduce a noise issue? I'm aware that the probe would need to be recalibrated if connected with an extension.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks!

BNC 2m is the longest due to the fact you will get impedance losses at a great length making the probe inaccurate.

expansion box is your best bet. put it at your second tank and plug the probes into that. not a cheap route but it is the best way.
