Ive been feeding my brine Alger wafers soaked over night till mushy. Then I blend and store in frig. Till needed. This seems to work well for feeding. I add a little phytoplankton as well. Its made by scheem I think is correct. But I read you can use boiled egg as well. Since Easter is here I might as well try it. Going to be boiling eggs for the kids. Well, do you add a pinch of egg, mix a little with water or how?

The egg method, while it does work if you don't put much in, doesn't have the nutrition that proper foods do.
If you just want food to grow them to adults you can use spirulina powder that you blend some in water for at least 2 minutes in a blender and then store in pop bottles in the refrigerator, using small amounts 2 or 3 times a day.
It's very cheap at about $10 a pound from Brine Shrimp Direct.
If you want enrichment, the best is Dans Feed from seahorsesource.com.
It includes Algamac 3050 which provides the excellent DHA component.

Thank you, let me ask. If I added some fish oil from the Vitamin shop. Wich comes in a gel cap I wouald cut. Wouald this be enriching enough? I think selco is basically the same thing isn't it? The vitamin couald be added to spirulina as well. Or maybe a mix of yeast, spirulina, and fish oil. Or just the fish oil. Lots of possibles I know. And yes buying dans wouald be simpler. I just like to experiment And tinker. Also found some liquid kelp that might work.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, brine shrimp to NOT take in liquids and filter out the food, but rather they capture appropriately sized particles that pass through their appendages, then passing the particles to their mouth using the appendages. They don't filter feed like say a clam would.
To get them to ingest liquids then, you need to emulsify them first, like Selco/Selcon have been already done.
Some people use egg yolk to emulsify liquids but I'm not sure just how effective egg yolk is as an emulsifier.
(Names of common emulsifiers include soy lecithin, mono- and diglycerides, egg yolks, polysorbates, and sorbitan monostearate.
A less efficient way is to wet the spirulina with Seachem Focus and then add the liquids and in this way some of the liquid will stay adhered to the powder for the brine to uptake.
The fish oils and Selco/Selcon's are not sufficiently high in DHA component for seahorses. They do have EPA.
The best enrichment for fatty acids with the highest DHA component is Algamac's 3050 powder.
I mix some of this with the spirulina powder I make brine shrimp food from.
Whatever you use, it needs to be blended in a blender for at least 2 minutes.
