Boiled egg yokes

I threw in a piece of boiled egg yoke. I wish I had broken it up first. The fish nibbled at the edges and ate the little pieces that floated off, but seemed frusterated.

Sailfin tang, chromis, PJ cardinals all enjoyed. I didn't see the cloen and firefish try any, they were at the other side of the tank and probably waiting for food to drift by.

Why feed egg yolk?

actually I HAVE read about feeding egg yolk. But the article was about feeding "fry". Put half of a boiled egg yolk in a 20 oz. plastic bottle of water and shake. As for feeding adults, i'm not sure. By the way the article was in AFM.
