Crazy4acros,
this hobby, at its most basic, is our attempt to simulate nature in an artificial enclosure. On a technical/scientific level, it has now become relatively easy to succeed at this. Especially with all of the equipment and information available to help us these days.
But your aquascape, imo, demonstrates better than any tank I have seen the purely artistic element which is virtually as important to creating 'the whole package' as the science is.
There is a symmetry and natural elegance to your rock work, a sense of vastness which evokes both the permanence and chaotic beauty of a natural reef.....All in a 3 foot cube!!
That was my long winded way of saying, frickin' awesome 'scape, dude!!!
When I get my tank up and running, it will the the feel of your tank and others like Invincible's that I will be trying to create.

Crazy, what made you go with 36x36? I see that you could have gone longer if you really wanted to...I guess you didn't want to block the entire window? That would be uncharacteristically restrained for a reefer!

I guess I have a thing about open non cluttered look. Just like my open aquascape, I did not want that area of the room to look cluttered. I wanted it to be comfortably viewable with easy acsess from all 3 sides. I also love the artistic look of a cubish tank.
