Is anyone interested in doing a "book club" type of group reading of The Conscientous Marine Aquarist by Robert Fenner? It would be a great way to help some of the newer members learn about the proper way of doing things and it would help some of the more experienced member brush up on this. We would read a chapter a week and discuss that chapter in a thread the following week while reading our next chapter. I could do the organization and start the thread each week. If there is enough interest I think this could be really good.
You will need to own a copy already or buy a copy as we don't want any copyright infringement going on. It can be found at some LFS(for sure at The Fish Place in NT and I think at ABC Pet City in the Rochester Area(not 100% positive though) also it has been used as a Marine Biology Text so it might be found in a college bookstore(the hardcover is VERY expensive). Its also available at Borders and Barnes & Noble and Amazon for between 30-40 bucks.
If we get 7 people(myself +6) then it'll be a go, hopefully we get more. If it works out well we could do another book when we finish this one.
