I'll be adding an Aquatec 8800 to my BRS RODI. The way I understand the booster pump pressure switch setup, it looks for increased pressure build up between the RODI and a closed reservoir shut off mechanism (ie float valve). For someone like me that will not be using such a device to fill my topoff and W/C water (just wide open outlet), I know I'm going to goof, shut off the tap, forget the booster pump is running and run that boy dry.
I guess an idea I'm thinking, looking for feedback, is to also purchase a solenoid valve from ATO.com and have this be the primary tap shutoff for my inlet water. The reasoning is I can then control the booster pump and inlet solenoid with the flip of one switch, so they're either both on together, or off together.
If there are any other methodologies any of you guys use to control your booster pump on/off, except obviously a pressure switch setup, I'm all ears. thanks
