Well I reworked the wiring and got my apex set up. Now I need to get it online and setup to run my dosing pumps.

You won't regret the 93 cube. My only issue is finding the perfect flow

Well we're moving to Esparto Ca. About 12 miles from Woodland. Way bigger home.....still only keeping my cube even thought it could house a 600 no problem.

This will be a perfect time to take care of the tank and have it perfect!

Are you going to run the MH and the LED at the same time? I'd worry about the MH heat affecting the LEDs. Looks like between you, Jeff, Mike and me we'll be trying out 4 different brand LED fixtures, (plus I think Tom is switching to Kessil?). Pulled the plug and going to try Onyx (and will get me to set up that dang Apex to run it). I see a club talk and update coming on! LOL.

I am hoping to be Radions only in the near future. Running 2 to cover the tanks needs and my Milliporas needs.

Tom Blevins, we were looking at the same used Kessil 350s . Would take too many over my tank to do the job so got 3 Onyx dimmable, but will need another vdm module .

price point was good on the Onyx dimmable and is controllable by the apex. My tank is 24" wide so that's OK. All 3 with hanging kits and cables cost less than 1 Mitras (or close to 1 Radion Pro without the cables and tax). Sure it's not as sexy as the Mitras or the Radion and doesn't have all the bells and whistles but I'll survive .

Did a quick back of the envelope calculation on energy savings from 3 MH and it will be over $250 per year if my calculations are correct since all 3 will take about 1/3 of the energy of my MH (and not even including the chiller energy cost)
