Bought new led light fixture from China.

Yeah, second the thanks to gillguy, though not the most expensive lights know one wants to spend money and then be disappointed, especially when you hear so much criticism on anything that doesn't cost over $700 or even worse comes from china. People are always quick to knock new things and it's this sort of help that give people the confidence to go for it and.........enjoy it! I am very pleased, and although on a new system with only a couple of small sps my green plating monti has terrific growth lines around it two weeks into its new home.

Getting decent results here also and finally got a schedule that I think I am happy with. Couple of questions if I may. What's the maximum intensity that people are running at the moment? I am running white at max of 85% for 4hrs. 2 of my blue channels at 80% for the same period. Also has anybody tried playing with the settings for cloud and flash and if so have you had any good results?

I noticed that as well and got reply from kevin that it would not available till this Oct , it is in testing period for this new Android controlling system APP.

+1 I also heard it's an android app coming this fall and it will be compatible with existing units.

That would be an APP running on your Android phone or tablet , connected with the lights by WIFI between light and Android devices , there is no new controller, your sphone is the "controller"

No I don't think so. The light itself has a wifi module in it.

Nah, I was told by Kevin that the controlling board in the light will be a bit different from the previous .
I hope I can buy a new board from ledzeal in future to replace on my own to be compatible with the Android APP.

That's a bummer. However, the good thing is that they are continuing to improve the light.

ok I want this light. however I have questions. this will be over a 90g. I will be using the legs. what optics should I get. also I love the look of my 14k Hamiltons. what layout should I get?

Ok fellas i need some help with my wifi controller for ch3 no matter what settings i input it wont turn on till 10:00 am i dont even have a scene setting at 10:00am ive been trying to get the blues and uv to start on at 1% @6:00 and ramp up to 15-20% by 9 and no go i have the last scene set at 00:00 0% scene 8 and its at 1% from 9pm till then and it shuts down but wont turn back on till 10:00 no matter what percentage i put between shut off and 10:00am

Okay fellas i think i have a faulty controller i sent kevin a email as im going threw the settings and L1&L2 work fine so i set L3&L4 the same as L1&L2 and both 3&4 wont turn on till 10:00am and the others start to turn on at 8:30 with the exact same settings i noticed that L4 was not on while inspecting why L3 was not on too its weird as i set the times a month ago and left it alone till i saw the moons were not on yesterday morning so it was working at one time how it was supposed to without any adjustments ive been workin 12hr shifts from 3am till 3pm so havent been able to tell when it started but it had to be within the last week and a half

check that the connector on the cable is aligned correctly and pushed in all the way into the light. It's keyed so make sure it's aligned.

Yup just checked gillguy its plugged in correctly i made sure to align the slot on the plug with the connector on the light and still no control the controller lights up and i can operate it as usual but it makes no differance on the actual light it stays full blast good thing i didnt toss out the 1970-80's style rf remote lol atleast that works for now curious to see ehat the out come is gonna be once i hear from kevin
