Bought new led light fixture from China.

Okay i tried pluging it in the light and wall at the same time and booyaaaaa i have control again im back to the wifi controller now time to see if l3&l4 are working correctly ill have to set the time @ 6am and all the set times and make sure they are doing what they are supposed to

Okay fellas i think i have a faulty controller i sent kevin a email as im going threw the settings and L1&L2 work fine so i set L3&L4 the same as L1&L2 and both 3&4 wont turn on till 10:00am and the others start to turn on at 8:30 with the exact same settings i noticed that L4 was not on while inspecting why L3 was not on too its weird as i set the times a month ago and left it alone till i saw the moons were not on yesterday morning so it was working at one time how it was supposed to without any adjustments ive been workin 12hr shifts from 3am till 3pm so havent been able to tell when it started but it had to be within the last week and a half

Have you tried "resetting" the timers?

I had this problem (had assumed it was faulty) but this is what I did after some help from Kevin and it all works perfectly:
1. Set the first (start) time on LED 1, 2, 3 and 4 to 06:00 and 0%
2. Set the end (last) time on LED 1, 2, 3 and 4 to 22:00 and 0%
3. Set times 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 to different times but consequential.
4. Set a 0% to time 2 for each LED

Once you have reset the times - turn off the machine and back on again.

What I found is that the system goes haywire if the first (start) or end (last) time aren't both set to 0%. OR if the times aren't consequential.

Does anyone know or has anyone relocated some white leds from ch2 to any other channels to spread them out i was thinking of doing this but didnt know if the white leds ran at a higher frequency or if it was possible

Jus heard back from kevin and he analyze my custom layout and said it is possible if i put them on the blues woohoo looks like im gonna have a project lol

Any pics of tanks using these lighting systems?

My tank was setup end of last year. The LEDZEAL lights were installed on 5/26/14.

Here is a pic of a blue acropora on 5/21/2014

Here is the same coral as of 8/30/2014

The coral is about 12" under the water and the lights are about 16" up.

The lights are now set on 90% B, RB and UV, the whites are at 45% but are on less time than the others. This setting was set about a month and half ago, prior to that the range was 30-50%.

Keep in mind that I have X2 S400 and my tank is 400G (72X36X36)

I just ordered a led pendant from Lumina corp, China (Aquarium Light-Asta 120R1). Supposedly has a modular design to allow for upgrades, led replacement, etc. Looks like a Kessil clone in a blue aluminum shell...comes with a seperate controller so I will give it a whirl and see how it does.

I actually took a look at their lights. They look pretty good but i decided to go with LEDZEAL because the Asta's cannot be customized on their LED's

What did it cost you?

Wow I can't believe I read/skimmed threw 18 pages. I give up, because every other page I think up a new question to asked. Too bad I didn't write them down since one question replaces another and then it's gone from memory.

Gillguy, a few questions before I forget. First off, I have a FOWLR that will eventually house mainly softies, LPS, and a few hardy SPS. Will a S300 hung 10" AWL with 90 optics work on a 60 x 18 x 24?

Are the channel assignment set and not customizable? Like keeping the 4 channels, but regrouping the LEDs.

Also, how is everyone make such nice Jpegs of their custom layouts? I have a few in mind that I would like your opinion on.

So I messed around on my computer and came up with these. I'm guessing the channels are preset and can't be regrouped, so I made variations with the same number of each LED. Knowing the 4 channels, which combination gives me better flexibility. Overall I'm going for a non-blue looking tank. I want the fishes to share the same amount of focus as the coral. Slight blue is ok.
