Bought Snail cuz of Algae on its shell, should I "frag" it from the snail?

I bought a snail because it had some nice red-turf algae and best of all brown wafer algae growing on it. I want both of these algae's to start growing on my liverock so I was wondering if I should try to scrape it off the snail and put it on the LR or should I just let the snails roam and hope some gets on the LR?

Tuff to answer! U could sacrifice the snail and glue him to a rock . . . and place the rock in ur fuge. . .

Probably the best bet is to let the snail be. If growing conditions are good, the algae will spread on it's own
