Brackets to hold PVC off the wall?

I know I've seen something before, i think with different lengths, that holds the PVC farther off the wall so you can fit unions or valves on the same line.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
If you use the typical plastic C-clamp style brackets to hold the PVC to the wall, it holds it right up against the wall with no room for the other stuff.
I've used plastic spacers before, but looking for a cleaner solution if possible.

Lots of kinds out there....
In a non-aesthetic application one would just do some wood blocking..

I'd google search something like "standoff pipe hanger" or "PVC standoff bracket"

I used those Scott(the plastic grey clip ones) I got mine from Savko plastics around the corner from me. I used it to attach my manifold to my stand. I believe the simple clamp ones are available at some lowes or HD stores. They work great

I believe this is what Iced is talking about, called a split ring hanger and they work great. from 1/2" pipe up to 2" I think, add some 3/8" threaded rod with the base

Thanks! Yeah they work really well, but there not the easiest to install, just a little fair warning to the OP, was quite stressful to install, moving a 1000lb fish tank and trying to line up the pipes and the hangers, lot of work, made worse by just the worry of damaging a seal or any joints in the plumbing.

They also are a pain to remove if ever needed!!:lol: I use them for my manifold and had to take one down one time....... No fun. Lol
But they work great

And the ones from Grainer are about 1/8 the cost. You can't beat that. Gotta love Grainger. I'm fortunate to have one a few blocks from my office.

If you have a back drilled tank with bulkheads, 90s and a long drop pipe, i would really clamp it. What that is is basically a cheater-bar on the glass, give it a good jank and see what the glass has to say about it. Clamping it basically eliminates that.

Yeah, we have the spread around Houston.
Everything is far from me, but I should be able to pick these up on tuesday from the location that's about 12 miles from me... right near my closest lowes. :lol:

any horror stories for reasons why you guys need clamps? i've been running for about a yr...no problems yet. and 2 tanks are connected to one bigger drain pipe...

I just have a few areas where I'd like the pipe to be supported rather than putting pressure on bulkheads, or where i want a clean installation.
