Bradley's 200g Brick Build

Got a deal on new MP40es & MP60es also ordered the lighting and return pump.
I may be heading to the plumbing shop for my SCH80 parts today.
:bounce3:

Couldn't find the SCH80 parts in town, so I decided to go with the SCH40.
Parts from 80/20 should arrive Tuesday for the light rigging.:bounce3:
FTS of what's being transferred into the brick in 2 weeks + another 100+ pounds of rock.

I did not post an update or timeline like I had wanted to so here's a pic.
The pic of the tank a couple days after the move over from the 90g.
Been 2 weeks with everything moved over. Stuff looks good so far.

Looks great. It looks like you replaced your wood stand with a metal stand. Also, can you give some details of your 80/20 frame and how you mounted the AI's. Thanks

Thank you. The stand was built from steel. I really wanted to go with the 80/20 stand, but the cost was not in the budget. The AI's are mounted on the OEM 72" rails that AI sells hanging from the ceiling using the grip-lock system.

Going on the 3rd week since the transfer and all is well so far. I upped the lighting by 10%. Still need to take some time and do the wire management.

Did a little work underneath today. Not as "OCD" as I wanted but wire management nonetheless...

Now have room for the reactor, ato and rdsb to come online soon.

Looks nice! How you liking the AI's? Do you plan on adding a couple more or is the coverage enough? I see you have the ES on two of your vortechs. Do you plan on upgrading the older mp40w to ES. I'm trying to figure out if it's a worth while upgrade. Thanks

1st Casualty

1st Casualty

Well, the first casualty in the tank is one of my favorites. :sad1: Harold the Harlequin was found at lunch by the wife attached to the front MP40.

So, she cut the power and it was lifeless. The wife says when she put the power back on, in an attempt to blow the shrimp closer to the surface, "Big Momma" the maroon clown swoops it up and buries it in her nem.

Im wondering if it isn't a molt. The first time i seen my shrimp stuck to the powerhead, I thought the same thing. Give it a few days, Id be surprised if he doesn't show back up.

This may sound n00bish but this evening as my lights were ramping down I watched the tangs do their final laps before tucking away in the rocks for bed.
:D
This was a first for me and I really enjoyed it.

Added a 4th AI unit. Need to move stuff on the rack below to accommodate the 15g ato/osmolator. Also picked up a couple large pieces of LR to add to the tank.
