Brain coral mouth gaping

Gaping is no bueno with clams, but not sure what's going on for Brain.

the neon green one has been gaping for a few days now. Color is still just as bright but more skeletons showing. It's been in the tank for a few months now. everything else is doing good, fish invert, softies, few sps, lps

did i place the 2 too close? their tentacles are very far apart still. Anything I should be worried about for the neon green gaping brain?

picture is a little blurry, but that mouth is as open as it gets..

Placement is not too close.

Recession (skeleton showing) is disconcerting.

Parameters look in bounds.

Seeing feeders at night? Feeding?

Any recent changes or additions?

no feeders now. it used to turn itself inside out with feeders.. added quite a few new zoas. mostly small single or double polyps. around 15 or so. all dipped. added a royal gramma and foxface in the last few months. no sign of fish picking on coral.

i don't target feed corals. I broad feed the tank weekly. sometimes twice a week. reef frenzy, coral frenzy, reef chili, DT's live phyto.. random choice

I had one do this and I just moved it to a new spot..it turned itself around. It was in the original spot for months and 1 day it looked just like this.
