Brand new Ushio 14K 175w F.S.

We have 2 brand new never fired Ushio 14k 175W MH we got as a gift and can not use them as we have probe start ballasts $50 Ea or will consider trades

Why won't they work with the probe start? I'm glad you said that, as I would have bought/traded them without knowing till I tried.
The side of my ballast says "use only ANSI m57", which I believe means probe-start?

They will fire on M57 probe ballasts but there life span is 6 mos or less, pulse start bulbs require a much higher arc voltage to properly start them than probe start do

I may be interested in the bulbs, let me check to make sure they will work with my ballasts and get back to you, I am assuming these are mogul base bulbs right?

Blah, Spazfish. Gift versus attempted substitute for defective product...what's the real difference? I'm buying them and I could care less where they came from so long as they are new.
