Break through; spouse said "our fish"

My wife isn't so much interest in my tank, but I do tell her about interesting things I read online from time to time. I'm sure the loves it ;) Well, this evening I was telling her about a thread were people were claiming there Algae Blenny's had more personality than ...etc. I thought this might interest her because even she knows the Lawmower Blenny in the 40G is super shy. He hides if he sees you enter the room 12 foot away. Anyhow, she responded to the comment that "our fish...". It blew me away. Never has she once showed any real interest in the tank. I questioned her about it and she said she has grown fond of Amigo (her name for the Chromis) and Yellow Guy (our yellow clown goby).

This is a long way away from her being a reef nut, but it is a step in the right direction.

Thats good man! Mine likes to pick every fish that we can't have and then when I tell her she gets mad....I can't have any I like. Looks like I'm going to have to do a fish only tank one of these days.

its always our fish when things are going good,, then its my tank when it comes to cleaning or of if something dies.

Sounds like my house. Odd thing is all my fish are run and hide fish except for my Perculas and Dog face. I walk by thier tank and they are right there going LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!!!

Supportive is all that really matters. Now that she has the best interest of Amigo and Yellow Guy in mind, that might make her a little more understanding. ;) Honestly, she hasn't had too much issue with it thus far, but the more interested she becomes the better it is for me.
