Bristle worms releasing white cloudy stuff.

One morning I woke up and my tank was a little cloudy so i decided to do a water change and maybe find what caused it. As I was doing so, I noticed white stuff being squirted out from a rock and so a looked and saw a bristle worm squirting it from inside of itself. Does anybody know what it is and how do I get catch it?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Sounds like they are releasing eggs. I have seen that before, but it doesn't make my tank cloudy. I manually remove worms once in a while, but they are good for your tank as they eat left over food and poops; although they look nasty.

Hope it helps.

My sea cucumber will do it about once a month. Usually not enough to cloud the tank though, but it will make the skimmer skim like crazy. The corals will act as if you've put some food in the tank.

I can always tell when its about time, since he will get very fat, then I'll see him crawl up the glass and get as high in the tank as possible, the release the eggs, or whatever it is. He is usually up all night doing it, then remains hidden for a few days. Once he decides to come back out, he's usually half the size he was.
