i heard they can kill corals

Put it back in your tank. Bristleworms do not kill corals. They are part of a VERY good clean up crew. The reason people think they kill corals is because the coral is usually dieing or dead which would attract the bristleworm, making it look as if the bristleworm is doing the dirty work.

I have had several tanks over the past few years all of which had had tons of bristles and no problems that I can say.

I have tons of them and like them a lot. As my tank gets closer to water change time, I will see them more frequently sifting through the sand and on the rocks. When the tank is freshly changed they hardly come out.

During my cycling there was probably 50+ in a 12 gallon so there are plenty more where that one came from. Leave them, they are cool :)

Bristleworms are tank savers. If something in your tank dies and nothing eats it, your ammonia will spike and kill everything. If you have bristleworms to eat whatever died, then you only have one death. Bristleworms are ugly but very beneficial.

yeah mine do that to whjen close to water changing i found that one far from the lr when i went to change water

there at leat 5 in my tnak
